I haven’t gotten out to shoot the Sun lately, so I decided to give that a try as a warm up before an after dark DSO imaging session..

There was no scope on the mount, so I took the NP101 out and installed it. Set up, start up, and capture all went well without any issues. I have no to-do items as a result of this session.

The temperature was 84F with an occasional slight breeze when I went out. There were a few clouds around, but none passed in front of the sun while I was imaging.

I captured 100 frames with the 60Da.
